Meeting was called to order by President Caroline Wallace with all board members present.The minutes and financials were approved separately. Layla Dunlap with the Montana Dept. of Ag submitted a written report about the completion of nursery inspections, nursery license and revenue totals, and Japanese beetle trapping in Billings. The board will send a letter to the Dept. of Ag to encourage and implement a treatment plan soon. Jyl updated the board on membership renewals and getting insurance for all MNLA events. The Billings golf tournament had a good turnout with17 teams. There will be 3 people taking the CPP test from Kristi at the fall tour. Fifty people have signed up for the fall tour with 7 teams playing golf the day before. Leslie Halleck will be the key speaker at the Expo in Missoula and suggestions were given for other speakers to fill up the agenda. The ICPI course will be offered again since it was well attended in Billings. Caroline had the board break into the structured committees to see if that will be a more effective way to give more in depth discussions of subjects.
